Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have completed or be pursuing an Honours degree or a four-year undergraduate degree.
- Demonstrated academic excellence with undergraduate or Honours degree(s) achieved cum laude or summa cum laude, accompanied by Dean’s Commendations, Certificates of Merit, or equivalent accolades.
- A proven record of involvement in extracurricular activities and a commitment to making a positive impact on South Africa.
- Completion of a significant portion of secondary schooling in KwaZulu-Natal and age under 27 at the time of application.
Former recipients of the Cecil Renaud Scholarship have pursued diverse fields of study, including but not limited to MPhil in Development Studies, MA in Applied Theology, MSc in Mathematics, and MA in Singing.
