This program aims to empower UK-based early- and mid-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences to enhance their skills, expand their networks, and advance their careers across various sectors. These sectors include creative and cultural, public, private, and policy fields, addressing complex challenges with innovative solutions.

Fellowship Objectives

The ODA Global Innovation Fellowships aim to:

• Facilitate knowledge mobilization and translation.
• Foster individual skill development.
• Create deeper connections beyond academia within the SHAPE (Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts for People and the Economy) community.

Program Details

This is the inaugural call for the ODA strand of the program, offering researchers the chance to embed with partner organizations. Eligible partner organizations are located in:

• Brazil
• Egypt
• Indonesia
• Jordan
• Kenya

• Malaysia
• Philippines
• South Africa
• Türkiye
• Any country listed as Least Developed Countries (LDCs)

Applications not meeting ODA eligibility will not proceed to the assessment phase.
